Safecast is a non-partisan and “pro data” not-for-profit organization. In our efforts to maintain independence, we solely depend on donations from our community, our families, and friends – YOU! We use donations to serve our joint mission to provide trusted, decentralized data, unbiased and with full transparency.

We very much appreciate your contribution and you can make smaller and larger, tax-deductible donations, in fiat or even virtual currency.

Best for smaller, non-tax-deductible donations under USD1,000. Go to our PayPal donate page to enter the amount and other details (VISA, MC or AMEX) or checkout via your PayPal account. Safecast will not store any of your details as everything stays on the PayPal website. Our account is operated by Safecast Japan.

Buy something in our shop
Net proceeds from our shop go directly to Safecast. You can buy our radiation devices or air quality sensors, unique items in our Ukraine Support shop, or T-shirts, hats and even socks.

Larger, tax-deductible contributions – US or outside of Japan
Safecast Global is a registered 501(c)3 public charity organization, and we support tax-deductible contributions over USD1,000.00. Our EIN is 85-2542312. Please contact us indicating the amount, and we will right away send you instructions (including W9 form for US taxpayers) on how to best make your contribution via bank transfer (to our US account from anywhere) or check (US only).

Larger, tax-deductable contributions – Japan
Safecast Japan is a registered, not-for-profit organization (aka “Ippan Shadan Hojin” or 一般社団法人) We support tax-deductible contributions over JPY50,000. Please click here for bank transfer instructions and provide details for generation of tax receipt for filing. We will issue you tax receipt after receipt of your contribution. Please contact us if you need any assistance.

 

Crypto currencies
We are happy to now be able to accept donations in cryptocurrency. We prefer to receive crypto donations in Ethereum to our public wallet.

If you would like to donate a different type of cryptocurrency, please contact us. Please consult with your tax accountant on how to deduct your crypto donation from your taxes.
